Caregiver Job Opportunity – Howell, NJ (Starting July 29)

We have a caregiving opportunity beginning July 29 and thought you might be available and interested.

Client Information:

• Elderly Male Client
• Location: Sylvan Woods, Howell, NJ 07731

Schedule:

• Monday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• Friday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Care Responsibilities:

• Wear scrubs during each shift
• Assist an amputee (below-the-knee)
• Provide mobility and transfer assistance using a transfer board, wheelchair, and walker
• Assist with personal care, including bathing/showering, grooming, and dressing
• Provide toileting assistance and incontinence care
• Support a client with dementia through patient, compassionate care
• Communicate clearly with a hearing-impaired client
• Prepare meals and encourage proper nutrition
• Provide medication reminders
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Observe and report any changes in the client's condition to the office

Home Environment:

• ?? No pets
• ?? Non-smoking home

Requirements:

• Reliable and punctual
• Experience with personal care, transfers, and dementia care preferred
• Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor
• Ability to safely assist with mobility and transfers
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and meet agency hiring requirements
• CHHA preferred, but not required

Compensation:
Compensation will be discussed during a phone call based on your experience and qualifications.
